Tactical Police Descend on Forest Lodge after reports of Gunshots

Tactical police descended on Minogue Cresent in Forest Lodge at around 12.30am this morning after reports of gunshots,

General Duty police were first to arrive followed by numerous ambulance resources.

Tactical officers responded across Sydney supported by specialist tactical Paramedics.

Police moved through Minogue Cresent and discovered a man who was having mental health issues.

The man was placed into custody and handed over to a waiting ambulance.

Police believe that no shots were fired, however loud bangs prompted the precautionary response.
