Bomb scare at Bondi Synagogue shuts downs Old South Head Rd

Police shut down Old South Head Rd in Bondi this evening after a suspicious package was found outside a Synagogue.

Highway patrol closed the road in both directions awaiting the arrival of specialist Police Rescue & Bomb Disposal officers.

The packages left next to the building were determined to be benign.

Police removed the discarded shopping from the scene.
