Jerry Can discovered following crash in Rose Bay following kilometre long 3 wheel drive in Rose Bay

Forensic police have collected evidence and seized a car after it was found crashed in Plumber Rd in Rose Bay this evening.

Witnesses stated the car was seen driving down O'Sullivan Rd in Rose Bay before turning into Plumber Rd driving on three wheels and a brake rotor as the forth.

The driver and two occupants fled the scene with the Police Dog Squad tasked to find them without success.

A 1.4 Kilometre track was discovered up O'Sullivan Rd after the front right disintegrated after police reported erratic driving in Vaucluse.

Damage was noted to the left hand side of the car, however at this time no other vehicles were found damaged nearby.

Forensic police scoured the car and collected fingerprints and DNA Samples. The car has been towed for further analysis.

Police have taken a fuel jerry can and two egg containers as evidence.

If any resident in the area notes fresh damage to their cars, they should contact Eastern Suburbs Police and document evidence prior to moving their vehicle.
