Bondi Fire under investigation following suspicious blaze at Jewish Kitchen
At around 4.10am (20th Oct 2024) emergency services were called to a building fire on Curlewis Street, Bondi.
Police from Eastern Suburbs found the Lewis Continental Kitchen well alight.
The fire was extinguished by NSW Fire and Rescue crews.
Residents were evacuated from the building and no injuries were reported.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
At around 12.30pm detectives placed a fuel jerry can into an evidence bag. Police media have not disclosed if this jerry can is related to the incident.
