Man rescued after car rolled in Rose Bay

A man has been rescued from an overturned car overnight following a crash in Rose Bay.

At around 1.25am emergency service responded to 000 calls after a car crashed on Old South Head Rd.

A man was trapped upside down with bystanders rushing to assist prior to the arrival of emergency services.

Ambulance, Police, Fire & Rescue and Police Rescue all worked together to free the man and transport him to hospital

One parked car is understood to be written off, another car severely damaged and the driver's car written off.

The man was transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
