Man in custody after siege in North Bondi
A man has been transported to hospital after a 3 hour siege in North Bondi this evening.
Tactical police, paramedics and a police negotiator responded to an address in Hardy St North Bondi after concerns were raised for a man that was screaming within his unit.
Police responded specialist officers from the public order & riot squad. A police negotiator made contact with the man at his window however he failed to open the door.
The door was smashed open and police took the man into custody. He was taken to a nearby stretcher and placed in the care of NSW Ambulance.
He was transported to hospital without any injuries to himself or officers.
