Man rescued after falling 4 stories from building in Sydney CBD

A 27-year-old male has escaped life-threatening injuries after falling 4 stories from a building in Sussex St in Sydney's CBD overnight.

Police Rescue and Specialist Paramedics were tasked to the incident at around 3.00am this morning (22 January, 2025) as police and paramedics could not access the patient who had fallen on a steel awning.

The man was placed in a stokes litter and carefully lowered down a ladder to waiting paramedics and police.

The man has sustained lower limb injuries but is in a stable condition.

He was taken to St Vincent's hospital for treatment.
