Foot degloved following serious crash in Vaucluse
A 38-year-old man has been transported in a stable condition with a serious foot injury following a three car crash.
It's understood two cars collided with one of these cars crashing into a third parked car on Old South Head Rd at around 7.45am this morning.
The man's right foot was partially degloved exposing connective tissue.
Three ambulances and the duty inspector attended the scene to assist the patient and assess other motorists.
The man was transported to St Vincent's hospital and is expected to undergo surgery.
It's understood the man was securing his child in a car seat at the time of the collision.
The child escaped injury.
Police are investigating the cause of the multi-vehicle crash.
