Man's leg crushed by truck after accident in Dover Heights

A 19-year-old man has suffered significant injuries to his leg after a truck accident in Dover Heights this morning.

The incident occurred at around 10.30am and It's understood the man was pinned against the wall and truck whilst it was moving.

The man suffered lower limb injures and a suspected complex fracture after his left leg was crushed.

Police were first to arrive and called for a tourniquet to be rushed to the scene.

Intensive care Paramedics stabilized the man on scene prior to being transported to hospital.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
