Police investigate alleged stabbing in Vaucluse
Emergency services have responded to Clarke St in Vaucluse at 4.00am after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed.
Intensive care paramedics were tasked with a general duties ambulance, however the first arriving paramedics determined the man's injuries to be minor.
Numerous police from Eastern Suburbs local area command established a wide perimeter around Christison Park whilst a dog squad was called to track the alleged offender.
After around 30 mins of searching no offender could be located.
It's understood the man was attacked in the street by a male wearing a balaclava.
The man was transported to hospital in a stable condition with minor lacerations.
Police are investigating the incident.
