Builder in serious condition after construction site fall in Bellevue Hill
A 43-year-old builder is in a serious condition after falling three metres and landing on his head at a construction site in Bellevue Hill this morning.
A specialist medical helicopter team landed at Lough Playing Fields on Manning Rd prior to responding to Rivers St in Bellevue Hill.
Three ambulances with an ambulance commander, supported by police rescue, local police and traffic highway patrol assisted in the operation.
It's understood the workman fell three metres. His workmates assisted him and provided care until the arrival of NSW Ambulance.
He was stabilised onsite and placed in an induced coma by the specialist medical team.
He was transported to St Vincent's hospital in a stable condition with serious head injuries.
NSW Police are investigating the incident.
