Cyclist hit by truck in Vaucluse

A cyclist has been hit by a truck on Old South Head Rd Vaucluse at around 2.50pm this afternoon.

A male aged approximately 45 years old was assessed in the middle of the road by Hatzolah Community First Responders, prior to the arrival of NSW Ambulance intensive care crews.

The male was transported with spinal precautions in place to St Vincent's hospital in a stable condition.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by NSW Police. It remains unclear who was at fault.
