Man dies after falling from building in Darling Point

A man in his 30’s has died after falling 15 storeys from a residential building in Darling Point overnight.

At around 9.30pm on 17th February 2024, emergency services responded to reports that a man had fallen over a balcony in Thornton Street.

Police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command arrived to find a man deceased in the driveway.

Numerous paramedics responded to assist police however nothing could be done to save the man.

The cause is understood to be an accidental fall from the balcony in the presence of others.

Police are investigating the incident and preparing a report for the coroner.
