Man dies after two car crash in Pagewood

A man has died after a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. At around 10pm yesterday (Saturday 2 December 2023), emergency services responded to reports of a BMW and a Kia colliding on Wentworth Avenue, Pagewood.

The male passenger of the BMW died at the scene.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the two drivers before taking one of the men to St Vincent’s Hospital and the other man to St George Hospital, both in stable conditions.

Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be examined and investigated by the Crash Investigation Unit.

As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any available dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
