Shop destroyed following fire in Vaucluse

A shop has been destroyed following a fire in Vaucluse today. Shop keepers were able to evacuate however one man remained trapped on the roof of the building.

Firefighters across Sydney's east and CBD responded and extinguished the blaze.

Two people were treated by NSW Ambulance.

The cause of the fire is being determined, however is not believed to be suspicious.

Police closed Old South Head Rd and established a crime scene whilst fire fighting operations were under way. Investigations continue.
