Tree branch collapses onto man in Rose Bay

A man has been transported to hospital following a tree branch collapse in Rose Bay last night.

At around 6.00pm emergency services responded to Manion Ave after residents reported a man was lying of the ground with head injuries.

An off duty nurse assessed the man and kept him comforted prior to the arrival of paramedics.

Three ambulances responded included two intensive care crews.

The man was treated with spinal precautions and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

SES cleared the fallen tree.
