Fire fighters save home after blaze in Bondi Junction

At around 3.45am fire crews across the Eastern Suburbs responded to a house fire on Bondi Rd, Bondi Junction.

Fire fighters from Woollahra were first to arrive and called for additional assistance.

Police respond to bloody scene in Botany

At around 4.00am police and paramedics responded to a male in a critical condition with a suspected gunshot wound.

It's understood a man in his thirties was found unconscious in a car with severe bleeding in Pemberton St Botany. Police were first on scene and commenced resuscitation.

Police are appealing for public assistance after an officer was injured in a fail to stop motor vehicle incident in Sydney’s eastern suburbs overnight.

About 9.45pm yesterday (Saturday 2 January 2021), plain clothes police attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were conducting proactive patrols in the Bondi Junction area targeting drug related crime.

Power has been cut to a number of homes after a large tree came crashing down on Edgecliff Rd in Woollahra this evening.

The incident happened at around 10.00pm with residents reporting a power arc outside their home.

Man in hospital after alleged one punch assault in Bondi Beach

A 40-year-old man is in hospital and another being questioned after an incident involving two males in Bondi at 4.50pm this evening.

It's understood a man was hit in the face causing him to fall backwards and impact his head on the ground.

Man combative with paramedics and police after falling off building in North Bondi

At around 10.45pm emergency services responded to a call for assistance after a 25-year-old man fell down a flight of stairs in O'Donnell St, North Bondi.

It's understood the male had fallen 5 metres landing on his head and back.

General duties and intensive care paramedics were tasked to assist with patient treatment with police assisting with investigations & scene safety.
