Waverley Council and Woollahra Council have put in fencing to prevent those wishing to watch the fireworks this New Years Eve across the eastern suburbs vantage points.

Tree crashes onto roadway cutting power to homes in Woollahra
Power has been cut to a number of homes after a large tree came crashing down on Edgecliff Rd in Woollahra this evening.
The incident happened at around 10.00pm with residents reporting a power arc outside their home.
Man in hospital after alleged one punch assault in Bondi Beach
A 40-year-old man is in hospital and another being questioned after an incident involving two males in Bondi at 4.50pm this evening.
It's understood a man was hit in the face causing him to fall backwards and impact his head on the ground.
Man combative with paramedics and police after falling off building in North Bondi
At around 10.45pm emergency services responded to a call for assistance after a 25-year-old man fell down a flight of stairs in O'Donnell St, North Bondi.
It's understood the male had fallen 5 metres landing on his head and back.
General duties and intensive care paramedics were tasked to assist with patient treatment with police assisting with investigations & scene safety.
Woman killed after being hit by a bus in Bondi Junction
Emergency services have responded to a serious incident in Grafton St Bondi Junction at around 10.15am this morning after a pedestrian was struck by a bus.
A woman aged in her twenties sustained critical injuries. Bystanders rushed to assist the unconscious woman and commenced CPR.
Builder injured after wall collapse in Bondi
A 24-year-old man has been transported to St Vincent's hospital in a serious but stable condition after a three metre high brick wall collapsed on him just before 8.00am today in Gilgandra Rd, Bondi
The builder suffered additional injuries after he fell into a sharp object causing two penetrating chest injuries.
Two rescued after building collapse in Curlewis St in Bondi
Just after 5.00pm, residents of a house on Curlewis St Bondi had their side wall collapse into a neighbouring construction site. Beds in two rooms were on the edge of falling as the building gave way.
Family said that cracking had appeared in the neighbouring home around a week ago. The home owners attempted to reach out to those responsible for the construction but needed to engage a solicitor to force halting the building works.
