Man arrested following car crash in Bondi

Police from Eastern Suburbs local area command have arrested a man after he allegedly crashed his car into multiple parked cars in Bondi this evening.

Police responded after residents witnessed the drivers alleged erratic behaviour.

The man was arrested prior to the arrival of NSW Ambulance. He was sedated by Paramedics after becoming combative.

The man will undergo blood tests to determine if drugs or alcohol was a contributing factor to the crashes.

Police walked the streets to search for damaged parked vehicles around the Hastings Parade & Mitchell St areas. At least two cars were found with suspected damage however there could be others in the vicinity.

The alleged offender's vehicle sustained damage to the left side of the car.
