Teenager dies after falling from cliff in Coogee

A teenager has died after falling from cliffs at Dunningham Reserve in Coogee Beach.

Surf life savers, paramedics and police responded to the emergency at around 4.10pm this afternoon.

Police from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were told a boy – believed to be aged 17 – had fallen approximately 15m.

The teenager was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however he could not be revived and died at the scene.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
